The Principality of Monaco

The Principality of Monaco has a long history of Scientific Research. The Centre Scientifique of Monaco is in front line since 1960 with researches on biosystems and environmental science, ocean health, and bio-medical science with a focus on cancer and neuro muscular diseases. Recently it has also become an international hub within the network GVN – Global Virus Network – for monitoring and epidemiological research on Viruses.

Furthermore, Monaco is a health hub that is envied by many, thanks to the quality of its teams and the level of its equipment in several specialties. Within the CHPG – Centre Hospitalier Princesse Grace, operates healthcare professionals coming from all over the World, putting at patients’ service cutting hedge knowledges and technologies. Among the various establishments of the Principality, the RAINIER III Clinical Gerontology Centre treats all needs of seniors, notably brain diseases that so often concern the most fragile patients.

A particular and caring attention is offered in the Principality to patients affected by neurodegenerative diseases, notably through the work of several associations located on its territory.
